The works were the redevelopment and extension to the former Lauriston House to create a new 86 bed care home with associated external works and landscaping.

Our works included:

·         A 2-storey extension to rear section of home to create additional bedrooms and day spaces, including

1st floor terrace and other balcony areas

·         3 storey extension to east wing to create ‘destination areas’

·         Retained pitched roof to existing but replacement soffits, fascia’s and rainwater goods

·         Green roof over new extension

·         Rendered external wall finish throughout, including to existing

·         Reconstituted stone corner and window opening detailing

·         Replacement external windows and doors throughout

·         Reconfigured internal layouts to create new spaces as follows:

·         86 bedrooms

·         Great Room including orangery and bar area

·         Day spaces and communal areas

·         Spa / Hair & Beauty / Gym

·         Cinema

·         Supporting areas, including:

·         Commercial kitchen

·         Commercial laundry

·         Nurse Stations and ancillary areas

·         Assisted bathrooms and WC areas

·         Replacement internal doors throughout

·         New wall, floor and ceiling finishes

·         New FFE

·         Replacement M&E installations, including decorative lighting

·         External works and border treatments

·         Replacement main entrance ramp

·         Additional 2-storey extension to create destination area
